Coming around to the 9th inning... I mean month...

We're just over a week away from Sawyer being 9 months. He isn't crawling yet but he is so close I can barely keep my eyes off of him and I leave him on the floor almost constantly. He did learn to go from belly to a sitting up position today. He was so excited about it too! He was so stinking proud of himself and just so happy he kept doing it! Sometimes I just can't believe how much he can do. He's so active and happy all the time, just a bundle of laughs. He always jabbering and laughing and grunting. He even squeals and makes this funny high pitched sound randomly. He's just the best.

Josh and I are working hard and trying to get as much time together as possible. Right now we're on opposite shifts Monday-Friday. At least we now have Saturday and Sunday off together now, which is a major improvement over the last 2 months.

We really just have been so busy with the little guy and living life that I don't think we have any other updates right now. So I attached a few pictures for your enjoyment :)

Hawaii

We took a few days off and went to Hawaii! We flew into Honolulu and stayed right on Waikiki beach. We honestly couldn't have been much closer to the beach, it was pretty fantastic. We were also right across the street from the zoo and so there wasn't a lot of lot of people and craziness. We drove out to the Polynesian Cultural Center and we to a Luo on the beach that night. Played in the ocean and just enjoyed the island. We flew to Kona for a day and drove out to the volcano national park. We also stopped by the temple there and just had a blast! Sawyer did awesome, even with the time change and humidity. He wasn't too cure about the sand, but sure loved the animals and the people and the music! He likes to dance now and it just the cutest! We put a bunch of the Hawaii pictures on facebook, so I won't add them here. I do have a cute video of the dancing though:

7 months?!

This boy is growing up too fast! It seems like forever ago that I was pregnant! Even though it's been less than a year! It's almost been a year since I've found out he was a boy, but still it seems like ages ago. He now rolls all around the house, wiggling and squirming to get to everything that he's not supposed to have. He chatters all day long, and sometimes all night long. He used to sleep though the night, but once in a while we still have some issues. He loves having his picture taken and loves people and loves to laugh with everyone around him.

New Year, New Photos!

I can't believe it's already 2013! We have so many memories from 2012, it'll be interesting to see what's in store for us now!

I spent all of 2012 pregnant, I found out on January 11 (but pretty much knew before, just prayed it was true!), and told our parents January 14. I had a fairly easy pregnancy, no morning sickness, just migraines. In September our baby boy really took over our lives and I am so grateful for him. I never knew how much love I would have for him and it just grows everyday, just like him!

In reality, I can't believe how big he's gotten! He'll be 4 months old on January 10, and I'll post his stats after his appointment.
