Two Posts in one week? Well, surprisingly I took some pictures last night and figured I better post now, before I forget. Let's start with the mail! Yesterday I got a wonderful package in the mail:
I mentioned previously that we were looking for a sectional to put in our basement and we found one for a pretty good deal on KSL. Josh and I picked it up after work yesterday and our friends Ryan and Juston helped us rearrange the couches. This is our “new” basement:
If you hadn’t heard, we had a bit of a mishap with our water in the kitchen and flood the basement a bit. Luckily our friend Terry works for Utah Disaster Kleenup and he came by with a moisture detector and 3 large industrial fans. We thought it would be dry in no time… But there was a vapor barrier behind the sheet rock, so the water wasn’t drying quickly enough and we do not want mold! So Josh drilled some holes into the walls and they dried quicker! Here are the photos of the other half of our basement family room, holes and all…
I got some new towels and mats for our downstairs bath/laundry (isn’t it exciting? haha):
And of course the kitties have adjusted to the move! They love running up and down the halls and stairs. They still get lost though, sometimes if we’re downstairs and they’re upstairs, they start crying because they can’t find us. They’re silly.

We had a leak in our old apartment and it smelled awful when it settled into the carpet. The repair guys left a floor fan there and never came and picked it up (even after multiple calls). If you want it, you can have it! But hopefully you've already solved the wet floor part.
Yeah we're good to go now, but thanks! I hate leaks, it scares me.
